to 5944 Marine Drive, West Vancouver from the Vanccouver airport
(YVR):
Follow
the signs to Vancouver,which put you on Granville St. (no freeway)
Stay on Granville and go over the Granville St. Bridge through
city center to Georgia St.
Go left on Georgia, stay in the lefthand lanes which take you
through Stanley Park and over the Lion's Gate Bridge. The left
lane coming off the bridge says West Van, does a loop and throws
you right onto Marine Drive. Follow Marine all the way up to 5944
for the scenic route.
Alternate
route: To save 10 minutes, take the first right off Marine Drive
(by the Chevron station) and go up Taylor Way to the Upper Levels
HIghway. Go towards Horseshoe Bay (12 km) and take Exit 2, Eagleridge.
Go left over the highway and follow Eagleridge, winding downhill
until it dead ends in the “T” which is Marine Drive.
Turn left and go about half a mile to 5944 Marine, on the right
(ocean)side. If you go too far , you’ll see the marina. Turn
around.
The house is forest green, with geraniums and a Thai spirit house
at the bottom of the entranceway stairs. Park in the turnouts
right on Marine in front of the house, big enough to hold four
well-parked cars
There
are signs everywhere for Horseshoe Bay, Whistler and Highway 1.
